Hey Tyler - sorry that happened. Are you using the rubber topper that came with it? That should prevent any rubbing on your bow.

I really like these. It is awesome to be able to hang my bow in the truck weatherI am going to the woods or heading to a 3d shoot. Also they can be used for hanging a multiple of other things if needed, like an extra hat, or your jacket. Great product.
